FEES &
INSURANCE
Transparent pricing for individual and couples psychotherapy, available in person in Bracebridge and virtually throughout Ontario.
Session Fees
Standard Rate: $150/hour
Most therapy sessions are 50–60 minutes in length.
Your first appointment is typically a 90-minute intake session, which provides us with the time to explore what brings you to therapy, discuss your history, and begin developing a shared understanding of your goals. The intake session is $225.
Ongoing sessions are typically 50–60 minutes and billed at the standard rate of $150.
Additional time may be available when clinically appropriate or by client request. If you're interested in booking an extended session, please don't hesitate to ask.
Investing in Your Mental Health
Choosing to begin therapy is an investment in yourself, your relationships, and your future. I believe it's important to be clear about fees and what to expect, so there are no surprises.
If you have questions about pricing, insurance, or payment, please don't hesitate to ask.
Accessibility Matters
I believe everyone deserves access to good mental health care, but I also recognize that therapy is a significant financial commitment.
Because every situation is different, I don't use a formal sliding scale. Instead, I reserve a limited number of reduced-fee appointments and consider them on a case-by-case basis, depending on both individual circumstances and my current caseload.
If cost is keeping you from reaching out, I encourage you to start the conversation. If I'm able to help, we can discuss what that might look like together.
Cancellation Policy
Life happens, and sometimes appointments need to change.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 24 hours' notice. Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice, or missed appointments, may be subject to the full session fee.
This policy helps ensure appointment times remain available for other clients who may be waiting for support.
Insurance Coverage
As a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO), my services are covered by many extended health benefit plans.
Coverage varies between providers and individual policies, so I recommend checking directly with your insurance company to confirm your eligibility and reimbursement amounts.
Following each session, you'll receive an electronic receipt that can be submitted to your insurance provider for reimbursement. Unfortunately, I cannot currently offer direct billing.
Payment
Payment is due at the end of each session.
Electronic receipts are provided after each appointment for your records and insurance claims.
Accepted payment methods include:
Credit Card
E-Transfer
Cash (if arranged in advance)
Questions?
If you're unsure about insurance coverage, payment, or whether therapy is the right fit, I'm happy to help.
